KSB SICCA Globe Valves — Overview
KSB manufactures three series of SICCA globe valves designed for both throttling and shut-off applications. Unlike gate valves which provide only on/off isolation, globe valves offer precise flow regulation thanks to their disc-and-seat geometry — making them the valve of choice for steam headers, feedwater systems, and process lines where flow control is critical.
As an authorized KSB dealer serving Pune, Ahmednagar and Beed, Johar Engineering supplies all three SICCA globe valve series — including the high-performance Y-pattern pressure seal design for power plant applications.
Product Range — Three SICCA Series
SICCA 150-600 GLC
Standard cast steel globe valve with bolted bonnet for general industrial service. Features on/off disc with option for tapered disc or throttling plug. Seat ring welded into body, hard-faced with 13% chrome steel or Stellite. Rotating, self-aligning valve disc ensures reliable function. IBR compliant.
SICCA 900-2500 GLC
High-pressure cast steel globe valve with pressure seal bonnet and Y-pattern body design. The angled stem creates a streamlined flow path that minimizes pressure losses — critical for main steam and feedwater service. Stellite 6 hard-faced seats, rotating self-aligning valve disc, and rolling element bearings for low actuating torque. IBR compliant (Standard Class).
SICCA 800-4500 GLF
Compact forged steel globe valve for small-bore, high-pressure piping. Class 800 features bolted bonnet; Class 1500/2500/4500 use seal-welded body/bonnet joint for maximum safety. Integral Stellite 6 hard-faced seat ring, solid valve disc. Class 4500 available with thrust bearing for NPS 1½" and 2" sizes.
