KSB Butterfly Valves — Overview
KSB offers a comprehensive range of butterfly valves for water supply, process isolation, and flow regulation applications. Butterfly valves provide compact, lightweight quarter-turn operation with significantly lower face-to-face dimensions and weight compared to gate or globe valves of equivalent size — making them the most cost-effective isolation solution for larger pipe diameters.

Product Range
ECOLINE CDB-S — PN10 Series
Standard centered disc butterfly valve for general water circuits. Grey cast iron body (EN 1561 GJL-250), spheroidal graphite iron disc coated with Nylon 11. Elastomer liner provides bi-directional bubble-tight shut-off. Lever operated only. Anti-blow-out stem retained by retainer plate. Epoxy powder coated body (RAL 5012).
ECOLINE CDB-S — PN16 Series
Enhanced centered disc butterfly valve for higher-pressure applications. Same proven design as PN10 but rated to 16 bar with extended size range to DN600. Long neck execution for thermal insulation. ISO 5211 mounting flange for direct actuator mounting. Fusion bonded epoxy body coating (200µm). Available with CF8M (316 SS) disc for corrosive media. Lever operated up to DN300; gear operated DN50–600.
AMRI Isoria & BOAX Series
For more demanding applications requiring higher pressures, temperatures, or tighter shut-off performance, KSB offers the AMRI Isoria double-eccentric butterfly valve and the BOAX series. Seat Materials & Temperature Ratings
The ECOLINE CDB-S uses elastomer liner technology where the rubber seat is moulded into the body, providing a continuous sealing surface. Extra rubber at shaft passage areas ensures leak-tight sealing at the stem penetration points. Select the seat material based on your process media and temperature:
