Why Carbon Steel WCB/A105: Same zero-emission 316 Ti bellows technology as the BSGT-S gate valve, but in globe pattern for throttling and flow regulation. The globe disc design allows precise flow control from fully open to fully closed, with the bellows maintaining zero stem emission at every position. Used where both emission prevention AND flow modulation are required — a combination that conventional packed globe valves cannot achieve without some stem leakage.

Typical applications: Chemical dosing and regulation of toxic or hazardous fluids. Vacuum pressure control. Solvent flow regulation. Any throttling application where both emission control AND flow modulation are required simultaneously. Commonly used in pharmaceutical plants where process fluid must not leak to atmosphere for both safety and product purity reasons.

What is the difference between BSGT-S and BSGL-S?
BSGT-S is a gate valve: full-bore isolation, low pressure drop, on-off only. BSGL-S is a globe valve: throttling and regulation capability, higher pressure drop due to tortuous flow path. Both use identical 316 Ti bellows and backup packing design. Choose BSGL-S when you need to control flow rate, not just open/close.
Can the BSGL-S replace a control valve?
For simple manual throttling, yes. For automated process control with 4-20 mA signal, a MIL control valve is more appropriate. The BSGL-S is a manual valve with handwheel operation. However, electric actuators can be fitted for remote on-off control.
