Material & Applications
Why Alloy Steel WC6: WC6 (1.25% Cr, 0.5% Mo) provides creep and oxidation resistance above 425°C. Standard upgrade from WCB. Must be normalised and tempered.
Typical applications: Main steam lines, superheated steam, power plant HP/IP, high-temperature process piping.
