Material & Applications
Why Stainless Steel CF8M: Full CF8M construction means body, ball, and stem are all SS 316. No carbon steel components in contact with process fluid or exposed to external corrosion. Specified when the external environment is also corrosive (coastal, chemical plants, offshore) or when the piping specification requires matching body material throughout.
Typical applications: Chemical process isolation, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, seawater, marine, desalination, and any application requiring full corrosion resistance in both body and internals.
